Fast Track Claims Process

If your vehicle has broken down we at A1 Approved do not wish to add to the inconvenience so please contact us on our free phone number 0800 9706860 in the first instance where a member of our Customer Services Team will give help and guidance where-ever possible.

The garage must then call A1 Approved Claims Department on our free phone number or they can email us on claims@a1approved.co.uk to discuss the repairs prior to commencing the work. We do reserve the right to inspect the vehicle and / or the failed part(s) and also to nominate the repairing garage.

Once A1 Approved Claims Department have given the approval for the repairs to be completed by issuing a specific authorisation number for your particular claim, your garage may fax us the repair invoice detailing their work and our claims authorisation number. Providing the fax contains the necessary details we will contact your repairing garage and pay them over the telephone using our dedicated A1 Approved Claims Department debit card to save you having to pay their invoice. We just ask that the original invoice then follows in the post.

Our Claims Office is open 09.00 to 17.00 Monday to Friday and is closed Bank Holidays.

Should it be necessary to make a claim, please ensure the following procedure is adhered to:

Refer to the ’Parts Covered’ section in the Warranty Book and ensure that the part(s) directly causing the breakdown are covered.
If a covered item fails you must report this as soon as reasonably possible. Deliver your vehicle to a Vat registered repairer, preferably your supplying dealer or a repairer nominated by the administrator. Please ensure you take with you your Warranty Book with the Schedule, and receipt(s) for all the services carried out.
Before any work is undertaken, the repairer must contact the Administrator on
for authorisation.
At that time the Administrator will need:
The Warranty number.
The Warranty Holder’s name.
Exact mileage.
Cause of breakdown.
Total cost.
Full service history.
Where possible authorisation will be given by means of a specific claim authority number. Any amount in excess of the claim limit is the responsibility of the Warranty Holder.
After the repairs have been completed a fully completed claim form, repair invoice quoting the Warranty number, claim authority number and details of who to pay, together with the service history including receipts should be forwarded to:

Please ensure that the claim authority number is quoted on the repair invoice. This will enable the administrator to deal with your claim with minimal delay.
PLEASE NOTE - It is not possible for the administrator to authorise any repairs without issuing a specific claim authority number. No liability can be accepted for any repair undertaken or commenced without this authorisation.
